Five stars is not enough! Our stay at the Great River Ranch was wonderful. This property was spotlessly clean and accommodating. The pictures do not even do it justice. Our large family group used / enjoyed every inch of this home and bunkhouse. The pool and hot tub, LARGE table, cozy family room, and industrial (fully equipped) kitchen provided everything we needed for meals and entertainment.
Absolutely great property for large group of people. Plenty bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry rooms. Open floor plan allowed us to mingle with people on dinning table, kitchen and family room.Extra ordinary out door fireplace and grills for outdoor activities.This is our second year geathering at this property and planning to come again next year! You would never regret coing here!
We rented this beautiful place at the end of october for a women's retreat. We could not have asked for a better location. The lodging was beautiful and the scenery was perfect. The refrigerator was huge, which helped with all of the food that we had. They had every kitchen accessory that we could imagine. we loved the movie theater and enjoyed the pool as well. It was such a relaxing peaceful place to be at. Communication was great before and throughout our stay. We can't wait to come back!
There are plenty of words I could use to describe this place, but I’ll just start with WOW! A group of buddies and I rented the Ranch for a long weekend of relaxing and catching up. Some I hadn’t seen in almost 30 years, others were friends of friends I met for the first time. This place literally has everything we could have asked for and more. We took advantage of nearly every corner of the property. The fire pit area, the pond, the workout area, the conference room, the kitchen, the movie theater and just the beauty of the views overlooking the Mississippi River. We opted for the optional Fireworks display and it is an understatement to say this display shattered my expectations. Talk about a front-row view! Easily better than most any fireworks display I’ve ever seen and no worry of fighting traffic afterwards! I know our crew plans to return every year and every year, we will be opting for the fireworks. 100% recommend for so many reasons.
We have stayed at this property 4 years in a row. What a gem. We love the property and enjoy everything it has to offer. Chris is always helpful when we need him. Looking forward to 2027!
The Great River Ranch was an absolutely perfect gathering spot for our family of 18 to meet for Thanksgiving. The spaces are all so well thought out, with plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied, and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked and made making meals a breeze. The property is truly better than advertised and we hope to return again.
Spent 4 days, 3 nights celebrating our wedding with our closest friends and family. We could not have asked for a better place to do so! From the kitchen being big enough as well as stocked with enough things to help cook meals for everyone, to the pool and movie theater, we were full and entertained all of our trip. It was spectacular!
My wife and I hosted 18 members of her extended family for a few days over the Christmas holiday at Great River Ranch and it was spectacular. Just an incredible place for everyone to connect and enjoy each other’s company for a few days. I would also add the hosts of Great River Ranch were incredibly responsive to any questions our group had. We will definitely be back in the future!
